This incredible recreation of Stonehenge was built by the great, great nephew of Abigail Featheridge, Abner Knoll. Spending most of his reclusive life on the project, Abner squandered his family fortunate in pursuit of his obsession. Knoll's Hinge, as the locals call it, is open to the public daily. There is in fact no way to close it, as it is placed just off the main road into town, and on the Bayberry property. Local Druid Cults gather each Solstice and Equinox to celebrate arcane rights in colorful costumes, well worth planning a visit to see.
Lord Alfred Nottingwood Trudgen, distant relative of the Feathridge line, flew this Spitfire from Scotland to Greenland and then to New Foundland and then on to Bayberry Hill. Apparently during the Battle of Britain, Lord Alfred became confused and disoriented and suddenly took it upon himself to visit his American cousins. Although the RAF looked dimly on this heroic and daring act, he was eventually awarded the Lief Ericson Cross by the Society of Greenland Explorers. The plane is flown annually to commemorate Lord Alfred's daring feat and is on display at the Bayberry Aerodrome.
