Edit Functions

Edit Functions
If you are logged in as a visitor you can see the full Edit Interface, inside your brower window. From Top left to right, there is a small globe which is the home link, then there are 3 choices of how to view the site. Only the "edit mode" allows you to see the page edit functions. The list below will describe the various functions available when you own an Invisible Gold Self Edit site.

User Groups can be set by the Admin, you can create diffrent groups, with unique rights to access the site. You can also create and/or manage individual users, assign passwords and allow them to do or see only certain things. This is part of the Securtity system of the Site. This function is ideal for managing staff or club members allowed to work on the site or have access to private information.
Security
As an Administrator, you can set security access to any page of the site; that is how we set the access you now have to these pages, but nowhere else on the site. This feature is very usefull for allowing people to share the site maintenance and updating, join a forum page or blog and create "members only" pages of the the site.
Email lists can be create in several ways. Anyone using a form on the site will automaticly be assigned into a user group. E-commerce sites automaticly place orders in a secure file but also put the email address of in a speacil list. You can create lists or up load existing lists, however you do it you can create large email lists, manage them easily and use them effeicently, using the "Send Email" function.
Send Email
This allows you to send any page of the web site as an email to any selected email group. You can create special pages for Sales or Announcements and email to all your clients or just a perfered group. Send hundreds of emails in one click.
Traffic, this area tracks visitors in the site, how many, where they came from, how often, what they purchased and many other useful things about your site's activities
System
The System area is an advanced edit/site management area. It allows you alter page settings, set keywords, and assign email addresses. There is also an interface for site backup/download, and database uploads, for database driven sites.
