Advanced Templates
This Page shows you the Advance templates available for more complex site development, such as newsletter, Multi-user clubs or full ecommerce sites. New custom templates will be added to this page as they are tested.

Blog
This template allows you to create regular dated postings like a diary. It lists the newest postings first and shows the date and the author. |
Members Directory
This page displays items from a Mailing List. Be sure to give the proper group read access otherwise it won't display anything. |
Members Posting Area
An area for logged in users to post news and files |
RSS Feeds
An RSS feed is like a newswire service provided by many large websites. You can use this template to automatically load and display the information if you know the url (path) to the RSS XML file. |
Site Search
This page allows a visitor to perform a text search in a manner similar to Google. It allows you to specify the page ID to search within, the number of pages down, and the button text. |
Calendar
Calendar: An interactive calendar that always starts on the current month. It allows links to different events that can span multiple days. It also supports events for different categories. |
Discussion List
Discussion List: An area for logged in users to discuss topics. This works quite well with self-registered user accounts. Be aware that it allows users to upload images and files.. |
FAQ Page
Faq: FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions. This is a list page that is particularly useful for long pages of topics. It shows a list of the topics at the top with links to each area. After each area is a link to "return to top". |
Newsletter Sign Up
This template is very similar to the mailing list signup, it asks basic demographic information (how did you hear about this site?). |
Mailing List
Mailing List: This template presents the user with a form to fill out to join one or more mailing lists. Information entered goes automatically into an email list. Any page of the web site can be bulk emailed to any or all lists. |
PDF Download
Pdf Download: A list page page for downloading PDFdocuments. The Page includes a link to the Adobe website to download Acrobat. Users without Acrobat can easily access the program they need to read the document |
Order Form
Order Form: This provides a list of items that can be ordered by specifying a quantity. This is a custom template and must be adapted to special uses. |
Product List
Product List: This template lists products for sale with the shopping cart. If a product has a price and can be sold, there will be a add to cart link next to it. Shopping Cart requires Secure Certification to to accept credit cards. |
Product Page
Product Page: This is a product page for use with the shopping cart. It shows a large image of the product, text information, and a link to add it to the cart. The items listed in the Product List above are linked to this page. This allows you more room for detail information and additional images. |
Shopping Cart
Shopping Cart: This template is required for commerce sites. Note that simply adding it doesn't enable your site to take orders. For this reason you should probably speak to your website designer before adding this. There are very strict rules about taking Credit Card information over the Internet and you must be authorized and certified in order to do so. |
Custom Form
This is an advanced template that allows you to specify which fields are used to submit values. Include input tags in your html, but no form tag. You can also sign users up for a mailing list. NOTE: To have the values be placed into a mailing list, use either default field names such as FirstName, Name, or User0, User1, etc. To make a specific text input field "required", add the parameter required="True" to the html. |
HTML Template
HTML Page: This template can only be used by someone who has a good working knowledge of HTML coding. It allows the user to enter html code directly into the content area of your site. Not recommended for general use. |
